2008
Steve Sabella was awarded by nomination the Ellen Auerbach Award in 2008. Jury: Sibylle Bergemann, Barbara Klemm, Helga Paris. The prize lead to an exhibition at the Akademie and the publication of a study on Sabella's art covering 20 years of his photography with texts by Hubertus von Amelunxen and Kamal Boullata.
