“What is happening in Palestine surpasses imagination—and what Israel has become does as well. Because I speak Hebrew and have lived among Israelis, I feared the reaction would be uncontrolled and extreme. But is that the answer? When leading politicians openly say they will not allow a Palestinian state, the question arises: where do we go from here? For me, the goal never changes—to end the siege of Gaza and to free Palestinians from a never-ending occupation. And to do so with a steadfast insistence on empathy, rights, and a perspective in which every life has equal value.”
